just pictures

I got a camera (Lumix GX1) from my dad and I have been having so much fun. maybe annoyingly so for Nic who doesn't want to stand in the rain waiting for me to take pictures every 10 steps on our walk. Or for Abby and Ewan who were subject to my paparazzi ways before they could even have breakfast. I just love looking and listening, so much beauty to see, hard not to want to take a memento of every little thing.

Anyway, I wanted to post just some pictures from this weekend-ish -- sans blah blah blah -- because I have such a backlog of pics that I want to share. I've gotten myself into a bit of a pickle with 3 semi-finished blog posts in my drafts (I'm long-winded as you probably know well), so I'll be back soon to talk and share some videos about my recent paintings, birthday bonanza, and backpacking trip.
